With finals coming up, we will all be doing a lot of the same thing...like watching Netflix.
Here's my top Netflix binge-worthy shows to get you through these hard times.
1. "Jessica Jones"
This series is very new and very good. "Jessica Jones" is a show that is intended for mature audiences. It follows a woman who has gained superpowers not too unlike the Hulk's. Jones is a private detective who is caught up in a lot of trouble. The entire cast does a great job of portraying some very hard modern issues, while at the same time keeping the show light. With a great plot and great actors, this show deserves the top spot to binge!
2. "Grey's Anatomy"
Oh, "Grey's Anatomy." This is a show that I started with a close friend and dropped until recently. "Grey's Anatomy" is a show that follows a group of doctors starting their medical career at Seattle Grace Hospital. With a whole lot of twists and turns, this show will always keep you guessing. Don't get attached to any character as it is quite common for people to suddenly vanish from the show in the span of an episode.
3. "Lie to Me"
This is a show that will make you feel like a boss. "Lie to Me" follows the Lightman group as they use facial cues and body language to tell when someone is lying. With three seasons, very dynamic plots and a very good cast, this show is something that anyone can get into.
4. "Arrow"
It's officially the age of the geek and this show is the visible proof! DC has teamed up with the CW to make "Arrow," a show that follows playboy, assassin, Oliver Queen. Now to be fair, you do not need to know much about DC comics to understand the show, but if you do, you will find many Easter eggs hidden in the show that are worth the watch.
5. "How to Get Away with Murder"
A show that can make anyone fascinated, "How to Get Away With Murder" starts with a flash forward to the season finale that truly shocks audiences. All of the characters have very deep and meaningful backgrounds. With a plot that reveals itself at the very beginning and still maintains the audience's interest, this is a show that will keep you hitting the next episode button.
