The Marquee
Although the Marquee is on a UCF shuttle route and is close to campus, staff are extremely rude, maintenance requests take forever to be addressed, and prices are on the rise. The price paid to live here is not worth what you get in return.
Knights’ Circle
Knights' Circle employs an off duty police officer to patrol the complex 24 hours a day, making it one of the safest student housing options. It is also close to campus and on a UCF shuttle route. However, outdated furniture and internet service that goes out often have residents ready to move out.
Plaza
Plaza is about as centrally located as you can get, its right on the corner of Alafaya and University, and has lots of shopping and dining options below. It has a UCF shuttle to take you to and from campus, and the pool and gym are awesome. However, sharing a parking garage with the shopping center below it makes parking a real headache.
Lofts
The Lofts has a UCF shuttle, but the staff are rude, the walls are paper thin, and the rooms are way overpriced.
The Pointe
The Pointe has a UCF shuttle, and the shared living areas are much larger than most other student apartments nearby. However, the more spacious living areas make for more cramped bedrooms.
Boardwalk
If you can get past the fact that Boardwalk is one of the oldest buildings in the UCF area, you'll be pleased to find that the walls are much thicker than any other complex, the floor plan is super open, and it has a UCF shuttle as well. It is also set back further from the road than most other apartments, so it's a pretty quiet place to live.
Orion on Orpington
Orion on Orpington is probably the closest thing to home you'll find in an apartment. Residents are encouraged to paint and make the space their own, and newly renovated apartments boast all black furniture and appliances. Although the dining room table is nothing more than bar-stools, Orion is the first fully furnished housing community to allow pets without needing an ADA accommodation form. They are also on the UCF shuttle routes.
The Quad
The Quad is an awesome choice for those looking to have more room. The apartments at the Quad are town home style, meaning that there is an upstairs and downstairs to the apartments. The complex is newly remodeled, and has a very homey feel. They provide their own shuttle service to and from campus. One of the only downsides is that there is only one floor plan available, and that is a 4/4.
Tivoli
Tivoli is pet friendly, making it the top choice for anyone with a furry companion. Though the apartments come unfurnished, the open floorplan allows for unlimited creative design. The bedrooms are also larger than most of the other complexes. Most of the utilities are included in the rent, which is paid per apartment, not per bedroom. Electricity is billed separately. UCF also has a shuttle to help students getting to and from campus.
The Verge
The Verge is under new management, and apartments have been remodeled. However, rent payments have a tendency to get lost, and all the gym equipment is broken. Residents complain of ants in the bedrooms, and say that rent is way more than the place is worth.
