The Pros and Cons of Formal

Scenario: Finding a Date

Pro: You finally have an opportunity to ask that cute guy out in your Econ class.

Sure, you have only made small chat once and he has no clue who you are. But he is hot and you need an awesome Instagram. 

Con: You get randomly set up with your friends, frat bros, littles, grand-little. 

When you finally get his name from your friend, you head to Facebook and Instagram to match a face to a name. This could be a great or really disappointing moment.

Scenario: Getting the Perfect Dress

Pro:

You get to wear a beautiful, tasteful and flattering dress. While your arm candy will have a suit and tie.

You have been on Tobi every day since August finding this dress.

Con:Getting the perfect body to fit into the perfect dress.

You workout furiously that whole week before Formal and pray that pizza you drunkenly ate that weekend does not slow you down.

Scenario: The pre-game

Pro:You get to show off your date introduce your date to your friends!

"My date's actually the captain of the swim and dive team. He has a 6 pack. Babe, show em your 6 pack!!" 

Con: Finding out your date has already been "friends" with one of your sisters.

"Yeah, we used to hang out and watch movies at 3 a.m. together ... BUT YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!"

Scenario: Saying goodnight to your date

Pro: The night went amazing and you guys mutually decide to continue your night at the bars. 

Maybe you found your next top "best friend" on Snapchat!

Con: Your date wants the night to continue, but you just ain't feeling that.

As Eminem would say, "Next time? There will be no next time."

No matter how many pros or cons, you still had another memorable night in college. #Formal2k15
