Everyone has a favorite YouTube star that they would do anything for. Their dream is to meet their favorite person and tell them how much they mean to them. And most YouTubers want to meet their fans more than anything, but there is a limit to what they can tolerate.

Most YouTubers want to meet their fans, so they appreciate when people come to meet-and-greets, and conventions to meet them. They even don't mind if you come say hi to them when they're wandering around and you happen to see them. But there is a line that often gets crossed in different ways. For one, when you're too shy to go talk to them or too afraid so you just take pictures of them from a distance. Many YouTubers I've watched find this incredibly weird and would much rather you go up and ask them to take a picture or that you just wave to them. Another line that many people cross is an invasion of privacy. So many YouTubers have had people come to their houses and ring the doorbell trying to get them to come out and talk. Others have had angry parents accusing them of not being kind to their fans when they want to meet them, but really they're just trying to live their lives. Their viewers seem to forget that they are real people, they aren't gods that want to be shown endless affections without any boundaries. They want to meet their fans but they also want privacy like every person does. It isn't ok for people to invade their privacy and come to their houses. They aren't zoo animals that can be observed in their natural habitat. Some YouTubers have said that fans will look in their windows or doors or peek over their back fence and that just isn't ok. These people love what they do and they do it for their viewers but being stalked isn't something they signed up for. They put their lives out in the world but that doesn't mean you have an all access pass to their whole lives. Everyone has a part of their life that they want to keep private, even when they put themselves out there.

So if you want your favorite YouTubers to keep putting themselves out there and to keep doing what they are doing, being polite and respect their privacy. They love their viewers and they want to share their lives with their viewers but they want privacy, they are humans like us. If too many people invade their personal lives, they'll feel scared and want to stop doing what makes their viewers so happy. You may think you'll never meet your favorite YouTuber and feel the need to go find them, but don't. People are people, before you do something like this think about how you would feel if this happened to you. You hear horror stories about people online and how your parents are always afraid of talking to strangers online and the same goes for your YouTubers. It's just as scary and invasive to them as it would be to you.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
