Kesha, no longer Ke$ha, dropped her new single 'Praying' on July 6. The day before, she posted emotional videos on her Instagram for her animals and announced that her new song would be released the following day.

I was on break at work when I pulled up Kesha's new song and "ecstatic" is an understatement to describe how thrilled I was to find that the song also featured a music video. My insides were going: !!!!!!!!.

The first minute of the video is Kesha narrating a very sad, but very honest monologue that I'm sure has been echoing through her head since the day her problems with her producer, Dr. Luke, arose and the trial and publicity that followed.

In many articles, including one from Variety, it was stated that Kesha has not released music in almost five years. Her Animals have (im)patiently been awaiting another song from her. And, to our surprise, she's releasing an album on August 11. I cannot contain my excitement and if it's anything like 'Praying,' it's going to be amazing.

'Praying' was more than I could have ever wished for. It's real, it's raw, it's honest, and it's empowering. I can feel her emotions so deeply, and I can relate it to my own life. This only gives me high hopes for her much anticipated album.

Her video contains everything I'd expect from a Kesha music video - crazy clothes, glitter, awesome make-up, and vibes that give me the urge to dress up and sing along.
