It's that time of year again. Midterms passed a week or two ago, and if you're like me, you're probably having a hard time finding the motivation to keep pushing and doing the best work that you can. In this article, I will be giving you some pointers on how to power through and keep kicking butt in your classes.

1.) Find some good study music.

My roommate studies to classical music, and I got hooked. It's soothing and not distracting since there aren't any words. I find it's a lot easier to focus while listening to classical music, but everyone is different!

2.) Do not procrastinate.

I'm not going to lie, I'm guilty of doing so. But believe me when I say that getting things as soon as possible really pays off. It will relieve stress since you aren't worrying about it until last minute, and you will feel a lot more productive!

3.) Get study buddies.

I know some people have to study alone, but if you are one of those people that likes to study with others, find people in your classes to study with! This also helps with understanding the material more and you can make some new friends. It's a win-win situation!

4.) Pick a good study spot.

I have a hard time studying in my dorm room because I often get distracted, so I study in the study lounge where I am more productive. Find the best spot to crank things out!

5.) Go to a tutor if needed.

If you haven't been doing as well on some exams as you would like, maybe seek a tutor in that class, or go get help from your instructor! Don't be afraid to reach out. They are there to help.

6.) Take time to yourself, but not too much time.

Take some study breaks and maybe go for a walk, watch an episode of Netflix, or just relax for a little bit. However, try to stick to short breaks so you can still get stuff done!

7.) Don't doubt yourself.

I often have a problem with this. There have been times where I have been struggling in a class and I got really down and thought there was no way I could improve, but there is. Keep your head up and keep on working. It will pay off, I promise.

So take these tips into account and get to studying! Only a little more than a month until Christmas break, we got this!

All my love,

Kamille

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
