Spring break is over. You’ve seen your family for a week, and you’re ready to see some friends since you have none left in your hometown. Coming back to school after spring break is really bittersweet. On one hand, you get your independence and your friends back, but on the other, you have to start waking up for classes and eating dining hall food. Another positive is you get to resume binge-watching again. "New Girl" is always there for you. "New Girl" understands.
1. The drive back to school:
You are literally so pumped, and you just have to jam out.
2. Realizing you have to haul your luggage up two flights of stairs and back into your dorm:
You suddenly question why you needed to bring home six duffel bags.. And now seven, because your mom took you shopping.
3. But then you see your roomie and everything is OK!
She’s way better than your lame siblings, aka the roommates you can’t choose.
4. After your reunion, you run to greet all of your friends:
Must. See. The. Homies.
5. You see all your friends, and they tell you all about their exotic spring break vacations:
Oh, me? Yeah, my vacation to my local McDonald’s was awesome! Please tell me more about Florida, the beach and all those wonderful meals you had.
6. Your friends then complain about wishing they had more free time over break:
We could’ve easily switched lives for the week if you would’ve asked..
7. You plan your first post-break night out:
It’s going to be “lit,” as the kids say.
8. You all get dressed up in your finest crop tops and leggings:
Thanks for the new going out outfit, Mom!
9. Your RA stops you on the way out, asking what's in those water bottles:
RAs only exist to ruin fun. It's a fact. You narrowly escape and head to the trashiest bar in your college town.
10. You obviously have a great night until your friend mentions that you have class in the morning:
You have to be up in six hours, and it’s not OK.
11. You wake up just the perfect amount of hungover for your 9:30 class, and the only thing you can say is:
Thank God there are only seven more weeks of the semester.
