You guys were my first friends. You are still my best friends. I don't usually realize how much I miss you until I am visiting you. I remember all the good times we used to have as kids. We always played the most interesting games, from coming up with our own super heroes to pretending that we were Jedi or even students at Hogwarts.
We always used to spend hours outside, built forts, playing cops and robbers, or finding critters to make our new "pets." Of course being siblings, we found ridiculous things to argue about. But, making up has never been a problem, and I could never stay mad at either of you.
Christmas Eve nights were always the best part of the year because I got to share my excitement of Santa's arrival with you. We would stay up late and then wake up early, ready to open all of our stockings and gifts. Those memories are and always will be my favorite Christmas memories.
When I got asked out by my first boyfriend, I knew that I needed your approval. And I got it. Now, I get so happy when you guys ask me about our future together, as you hope for the best for me and my happiness. I know that when they day comes for you to send me off on my wedding night, you will be emotional on the inside, even if you don't show it on the outside.
When times were hard, you guys never broke, and I still see that strength in you every day. I watch as you, my first little brother, become involved in a potential future career that I know you will love. I have seen how devoted you are to it, and I know you will be great.
I watch as you, my even littler brother, grow up faster than I care to admit. You make me proud as I see you sitting in the same classroom as I did five years ago, impressing your teachers with your writing skills (I wonder where you got that from *wink*).
We share a lot of the same things. Hair, eyes, eyelashes, values, siblings, parents, and genes. Most importantly, though, we share a love and a bond that only us three will ever understand. I see the same love between our three younger sisters, so we must have been a good influence. I wouldn't be who are where I am today if I did not have either of you in my lives.
Thank you for all the good times we've had so far. I know that we will continue to have good times together for the rest of our lives. Now we are all at a point where we are starting our own lives, careers, and families. Even though I don't get to see you as much. we are still as close as we have always been, and we always will be. Thank you for always being there.
