There is nothing quite like discovering a cool, new restaurant. The food, the service and the atmosphere all contribute to that. Those are the things that make a night out with friends that much more enjoyable. So what could be more exciting than a themed restaurant? Here are seven cool pop culture themed restaurants.

1. Stay Classy New York

In New York, you can visit "Stay Classy New York", a Will Ferrell themed bar. From the decor to the drink specials, everything centers around the work of Will Ferrell. The comedic genius has many of his movies incorporated throughout the bar including classics like, "Step Brothers", "Anchorman" and "Talladega Nights."

2. The Lockhart

For all my fellow Harry Potter fans out there, check out "The Lockhart" in Toronto. The bar has an expansive menu of food only fit for the best of wizards. The "potions and elixirs" or drinks as mere muggles call them, are highly raved about.

3. The Hobbit Pub

If you are fan of the "Lord of the Rings" books or movies, then you'll love this place. Located in Southampton, United Kingdom, the inside of the pub truly makes you feel like you've stepped right out of any of the Peter Jackson films. I recommend the "Frodo" cocktail because who doesn't love a mixture of vodka and lemonade?

4. Saved by the Max

During grade school, I would watch reruns of "Saved by the Bell" on TV. I was really excited to discover that there is an actual restaurant modeled after the famous eatery from the show. From the bright, neon diner decor to the food items named after the shows characters, everything about this Chicago restaurant is delightful. Book your tickets now, preppie!

5. The Central Perk, Beijing

I think it is safe to say that most of us have seen one episode of "Friends", if not the whole series. In Beijing, there is a coffee shop modeled after the famous meeting place of our favorite friends - Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, Joey, Monica and Chandler. TV's play reruns of the show 24/7 and you can even pet a "smelly cat." This place is perfect for all of those people who just wish they could be a part of the "Friends" clique.

6. Donny Dirk's Zombie Den

For fans of the horror comedy genre, you'll instantly recognize the movie, "Shaun of the Dead." In Minneapolis, there is a restaurant in honor of the movie called "Donny Dirk's Zombie Den." Hide out in the bar and imagine your hiding out from zombies instead. Plus, the waiters and waitresses dress up like Simon Pegg's character from the movie to enhance the whole experience.

7. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.

In various locations across the country, including Baltimore, Charleston and Long Beach, enjoy some tasty food at "Bubba Gump Shrimp Co." Inspired by the movie, "Forrest Gump", this restaurant chain serves delicious seafood. Run like Forrest Gump to your nearest Bubba Gump's today!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
