1. Taking the easiest intro classes and feeling like you're in the best major.

2. Correcting your relatives when they say socialism is the same as fascism, or that you have a constitutional right to shoot people for touching your property.

3. Listening to people discuss the government when they have no idea what they are actually talking about.

4. Buying your first giant textbook assigned to upper-level classes.

5. Getting into a good study routine and feeling like you know everything there is to know.

6. Throwing some poli sci knowledge in a heated debate.

7. Taking your first big exam when you feel like you didn't study enough.

8. Getting the exam back with a decent grade and feeling like a boss.

9. Getting frustrated with our government when you begin to learn more about it.

10. Finding your own political idols to look up to in times of crisis.
