The new Pokemon Go game took the gaming world by storm. Players put countless hours into the game trying to catch every Pokemon possible. Some even go as far as using "Spoof Location" apps because they are desperate to "Catch'em All." It left us players wondering, "What next?" Well, after searching through the Internet for the what is to come It has been rumored and confirmed that there's actually a lot up next. Niantic has much In store for this highly popular game and it's sure to pull players back off the couch and back Into the virtual Pokemon filled world! So besides the anticipated await of the 100 Pokemon of the second gen, What else Is there to look forward to? Keep reading to find out!
Espeon & Umbreon:
Now of course the second gen couldn't be fulfilled without Eevee's other two evolution's, Espeon & Umbreon. With just 25 Eevee candies you'll be able to have these two added to your Pokedex when the second gen Is released. It is not confirmed so far if these two will have the Eevee name easter egg Niantic so cleverly put Into the game to give trainers the power to evolve the Eevee evolution of their choosing, but It Is rumored that If you evolve Eevee at night you'll achieve Umbreon & If Eevee Is evolved by day you'll have yourself an Espeon. Whether or not this is factual, it's a pretty great Idea. It Is also said that Umbreon will have a max CP of 1938 & Espeon a top CP of 1911, so they're expected to be pretty decent In power.
Pokemon Buddy System:
Just like our dear friend, Ash Ketchum; You will be able to team up with a Pokemon friend during your journey. This Is accomplished by picking your favorite Pokemon and choosing them to tag along with you. The great thing about this Is the fact that your Pokemon buddy with reward you with their special candy every mile or so, There are more bonuses you will be gifted with In this upcoming feature but they have yet to be revealed. It also seems as though Niantic took it Into consideration that having a Pokemon follow you around may become confusing during travels while others sprout around you, No need to worry about that since it is assumed through the Image above that the Pokemon will only be seen by a headshot right next to your avatar's picture. I have to say that I myself, am very much looking forward to this cool new feature.
Second Gen Pokemon:
It's very exciting knowing that It Is confirmed that a whole new batch of Pokemon will be released, but it gets better! I know that you probably noticed that there's legendary Pokemon shown In the Image above, That's because there's talk of them being "catchable" as well. This update will include a tier one category, Respectfully labeled "God Tier." If this comes to the surface as fact, I know many trainers out there will be more than ecstatic. I know I will! Let's talk about the CP levels that are to be expected with these second gen Pokemon, It's far from disappointing!
(Typhlosion - Max CP 2227 / Meganium - Max CP 2131 / Feraligatr - Max CP 2298)
(Tyranitar - Max CP 3196 / Porygon 2 - Max CP 2290 / SlowKing - Max CP 2232)
(Octillery - Max CP 2183 / Kingdra - CP 2300 / Ursaring - Max CP 2282)
As you can see In the example above, The new second gen Pokemon are to be expected to be very decent In power. Like I said before, There's suppose to be 100 new Pokemon so we can only Imagine what Niantic as In store for the second gen Pokemon.
The 3 Legendary Birds, Mew & Mew-two:
Everyone Is wondering when we'll be able to catch the legendary Pokemon. Unfortunately there still is no answer as to when or how, But there is a lot of talk over how you can get around that catch yourself one of these beauties. Even if there is a chance, I would urge you to steer away from minor hacking of any sort. Niantic is making it a point that they will not be tolerating any kind of "cheating" within the game. Although, one trainer was able to snag an Articuno fair and square, but that was short lived being that Niantic made sure the Articuno "returned home safely." So even If you were able to get your hands on a legendary, Niantic would make sure to return the legendary catch back to the data base while also erasing It's existence from your Pokedex.
There Is much assumed about the legendary Pokemon as well as when and how we'll be able to get our Pokeballs ready for them, but not much at allhas been confirmed. Some think you'll only be limited to one bird depending on the team you chose until Niantic releases the Trading System, if they ever will. Others believe that you'll have to wait for a Pokemon event to take place in order to attain that big catch. What I do know is that Niantic will definitely be releasing the legendary Pokemon to us sometime soon or In the near future, They won't leave us hanging!
Loads Of New Features Coming Up!
There is lots to anticipate with Pokemon Go and only so much patience to be had. I know I'm chewing at my fingertips just waiting for all the new features and announcements! Hopefully all will be revealed soon and we can start catching the second gen Pokemon while having a little Pokemon Pal to accompany us.
