Pokémon Go, the latest trend for mobile devices that was released July 6th, 2016. The game is currently in the top download charts, and even though it’s free to download, it has added $7.5 billion to the firm’s market value.
1. Hatch eggs faster
Hatching eggs can take forever depending on the egg. There are three types of eggs that I'm currently aware of and each hatch depending on the distance you walk. There is a 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km egg which hatch different types of Pokémon from Caterpie to Aerodactyl.
I've seen several different tricks for hatching eggs faster. People have hooked their phone up to their dogs collar and let the dog go for a run in the house or in their backyard. Or, left the app open while they are driving to school or work. But, it only works if your not going to fast or that game will not count it. (And don't play and drive)
2. Pokémon spawning
Pokémon spawn much faster and in larger quantities at high traffic locations. So, get your friends together and play or go to a Pokéstop and lay a lure down for extra spawns.
Pokémon also spawn at locations that match up to the areas located in the game. So if your near water like lakes and pounds, then you'll find water types.
3. Pokéballs
The only way you play the game and catch Pokémon is if have the Pokéballs. You can get extra Pokéballs from Pokéstops. You can also pick up the Pokéballs that you have thrown and missed.
4. PokéStops
Sometimes it's hard to find PokéStops, but once you find one you can visit that same spot multiple times a day. Once you visit a PokéStop and collect your rewards, the PokeStop will turn purple but only for about 5 minutes or so. After that, you can once again collect items from that spot.
5. Trade in your duplicate Pokémon
Well in the game it's called a "transfer" but unlike in the handheld, once you transfer the Pokémon, you can't get it back. The advantages of trading your duplicate Pokémon in though, is that you get extra candy. So you can level your other Pokémon up.
6. Lure and incense
If you don't feel like walking then you can go to a restaurant or shop that has a PokéStop and place a lure there, which will bring Pokémon to you instead of you having to go to them. Or, if your stick somewhere like home or work and don't have a PokéStop near you, then you can use incense to bring them to you just like a lure.
7. Be picky
When it comes to leveling and evolving your Pokémon up; it takes a lot of stardust and candy. You don't want to waste all of it on a Pokémon with a low CP when you may encounter another one with higher CP and better moves.
8. Catch multiples!
In order to get more candy to level your Pokémon up, you have catch multiples of the exact same species of Pokémon.
