In the beginning I was chasing The Dragon,
Now The Dragon chases me.
My heart is heavy,
I can barely see.
I feel so weak,
It's become impossible to stand on my own two feet.
I'm feeling empty,
But I just ate.
There's only one thing left on my plate.
My mind is flooded with all the things we once said.
None of it's in my heart,
But it's in my head.
I somehow feel I am lost,
Inside the house I lived my whole life.
The house where my mother was once a wife.
My stomach is turning,
I cannot move.
I would do anything to see you walk in this room.
I held you so close you could never see,
the damage you've done to you,
and the damage you've done to me.
Break my heart,
then hold my hand.
Here we are playing in the same old band.
You play the husband,
And I play the wife.
I have never been this sad in my whole life.
I love you my dear,
But you cannot hear.
my silent screams,
or my broken dreams.
You hit me hard.
Without ever touching me.
There is nothing left to do,
Nothing left to say,
And nothing left to see.
Can you believe how badly you hurt me?
