With our generation, we all in so much of a hurry to grow up, and get our lives 'together.' But let's be honest. We will never really "have it all together," so it's time we slow down and do and choose what's truly best for ourselves.

So please, never settle. When you meet your person, you'll know. Believe me. So please, I'm begging. Never let yourself settle for any less than what you want and deserve. Find someone who loves you like you would want a man to love your daughter. And find a man that you would be proud of is he was your son. We only have this one life, and all we have is time. So it's time we explore and find out what we truly need for ourselves to be happy.

Smile and be happy. Have fun, the rest will fall into place on it's own.

Fall in love with someone who wants you, and waits for you. Someone who understands you, and helps you. Someone who guides and supports you in everything you do. Fall in love with someone who calls you back after you hang up on them and waits up until you fall asleep. Fall in love with someone who misses you and wants to be there. Someone who is madly in love with you.

And please, don't fall in love with the idea of love. Trust me when I say it sucks, and leads to false hope which will nonetheless break you in the end. If you find yourself falling in love with the idea of love, it's time to walk away and move on. Because true love is too beautiful of a feeling to miss out on. You're young. Go out and live. Love will find it's way to you.
