We're a couple of weeks in to break... and well I miss my friends. So what better way to show an appreciation of them, why not make a playlist of the songs that consists of them?

G-Eazy can put out hits, Rocky is one of the most consistent artists out there and Cardi B flat out turned the rap world on its head this summer. There is no official video out for this but this video of people dancing to it brought back memories of some of my favorite dance team members dancing to it

On September 21st, Illenium released his second album "Awake". This album has a litany of great songs and this one was blasting from day one by my compatriots in Dogwood 401. Maybe we will revisit this album a little later.

"Leaving" by Illenium

Views might be over a year old, but this song still bangs as does the music video. This song has one of the greatest openings in recent history and is one of the OVO creator's finest works.

"Child's Play" by Drake

It was hard to not put "Rockstar" on here but this song kinda slows things down a bit and reflects on heartaches, but always gotta take the good with the bad and this song is damn good(the Slander remix isn't too shabby either).

"I Fall Apart" by Post Malone

I told you Illenium's album would make another appearance here. This collab with Gryffin and the wonderful vocals of Daya makes you feel exactly how the title says. Whether it reminds you of a significant other or just those friends you can never get rid of, this is one of the most heartwarming songs.

"Feel Good" by Gryffin & Illenium ft. Daya


Another party jam by your friend who is always there to bring some sort of crazy fun and this music video does NOT disappoint. Perfect for bringing out whatever good(in your opinion) dance moves you got.

"Dessert" by Dawin ft. Silentó


Yes Rihanna is here. No i am not ashamed of it. We all have friend who is reserved but has a bit of a wild side and this song exemplifies it like no other.

If you know me, you know how much tailgate season means to me. And dammit as long as I live, that means TAILGATE SEASON IS STILL ALIVE
