As college begins, you leave home and move to a new city with many more adventures. Who couldn't use a tour guide to help you find places in your new home? Remember that ice cream spot you'd wait in line for hours at every spring opening? Or the roller skating rink you spent all you childhood fridays skatin with your friends at?
1. TOP GOLF
Not only fun but if you take a group it's also inexpensive. At 40 per hour you can have a group of 4 and only pay $10 each for a fun activity to do instead of sitting in your dorm, bored! As well as roof top garden you can also enjoy a dinner at Top Golf and overall a Good Friday night plan!
2. ISKY INDOOR SKYDIVING
A little more expensive of an idea but still who wouldn't want to try indoor skydiving at least once? Same thrill, less risk! It's a win-win situation. Coincidentally location right next to Top Golf it's defiantly worth the money to go try ! Take your friends and go fly.
3. BEACHES, OBVIOUSLY
I keep getting asked if they're good beaches in Tampa and while there are none right in Tampa that I'm aware of, they're many reasonably distance beaches to the area. Clearwater beach not only has a great view of a beautiful bride but also is open all night ! I've definitely enjoyed nights at that beach past midnight and hopefully new Tampa teens will too! A few more beaches close by are St.Petes, Howard Beach and Annamarie Island.
4. TARPON SPRINGS
Another great adventure close to Tampa is Tarpon Springs! The little Greek town holds so much culture and love for its background. Tarpon Springs also has boat rides, one of which (the dolphin cruise) drops you off at a private island to collect shells. The other one I've enjoys is a sponge diving cruise! Both fun and an inexpensive enjoyable experience. The food at Tarpon Springs also deserves five stars!!
5. GRAND PRIX
Located in Tampa are not one, but TWO Grand Prix go kart racing tracks. The first one is indoor and contains two seperate tracks to race, at $36 for 3 rides, you could even save your last ride for another day if you want to! It's so worth the money, the thrill alone is amazing. The other track is outdoor, also just as thrilling and a great idea for those hot days when you don't want to be stuck inside!.
