Over the years, I really haven't traveled, well anywhere.

The 5 Destinations On my future travel list

I have been to a few places in the U.S. mainly in the South, however, my dream is to one day travel to not only to travel within the U.S. borders but also beyond. Outside the country. Particularly focusing on Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Within the U.S. borders, I have been to New York, Wyoming, Utah, Mississippi, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and well obviously Florida, but yeah, that's about it. Eight out of fifty. Big deal...

Oh not to mention, I've never been on a cruise either, so little islands don't even count either!

Instead, this article is about embracing the inner traveler in me. Where I want to go and why. Whether that means taking a Semester Abroad or just exploring the world just for the heck of it. Ideally, I would love to go out on my own time, not worrying about classes and grades, but also I enjoy the idea of having that ability to visit so many places while still being able to earn an education.

First on the list is....Santorini, Greece.

Holy cow. I have just seen so many beautiful pictures of this place. I deeply am fond of the all-white homes, the simplicity, paired with the bright vibrant blues, yellows, and oranges throughout the city. From the skyline to the spectacular views, I just am so shocked to how much I want to visit this city. Well, all of Greece too.

Second would be...Venice, Italy.

If you know me, you know how much I love Italian food. So right off the bat, I am already so excited to try all of the decadent food. The Gondola looks amazing too, how intricate and breath-taking it is. The architecture of the buildings are so fascinating and I am just blown away, pretty much about everything about the city.

Stockholm, Sweden would be number three for sure.

In high school, a foreign exchange student happened to come in my senior year. One of the coolest people I have ever met. All he could talk about is how different America was from Sweden, and how Sweden should definitely be a place on my bucket list. Nightlife is exotic and during the day there are so many wonderful places to visit and see. To be honest, I really don't know much about Sweden, but I would love to learn more.

Beijing, China would probably be number four.

When I was little, my cousin Marie lived in China for a few years or so I can remember. She absolutely loved it. Plus I enjoyed getting cool gifts from across the world. She mentioned that everyone was so friendly, that the city itself was very clean and beautiful, and that it was just a fun experience to have in her life. So yeah, now I have to go.

Lastly, just for the five places on the top of my head, would be Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Living right next door to me, were some amazing neighbors who loved to travel. Their daughter, for her senior year of high school gift, went to Amsterdam, and I a clearly remember loving every picture that they took. So from there on out, I always wanted to visit Amsterdam, no particular reason other than hearing about their experience.

I mean, overall, my goal in life would be to travel all across the world and visit so many riveting places. Will I accomplish this dream? I sure hope so, but even if I only get to visit one or two, as long as I am there with someone I care about or some of my best friends, I can't be too picky. I hope to travel more West in the U.S. as well, visit places like California or North Dakota to visit my brother. Places like Colorado, Maryland, New Jersey, South Carolina, wherever. I just want to experience other places and get a feel for how much there is to take in in the world around me.

Outside of the U.S. or within, I'll be thankful for getting the opportunity to travel anywhere, but I am determined to see as much as I can that's for sure!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
