Was The "Pixar Theory" Just Confirmed By Disney?

The Pixar theory has been floating around the internet for a while now. The theory states that all of the Disney Pixar movies take place within a single shared universe. Brave is the earliest in the timeline, explaining how animals in this universe could have human characteristics, and the latest in the timeline is Wall-E, and other films in between can explain how the world came to be what it is in that movie. I came across the theory early in high school, and it got me obsessed really quickly.

Recently, Disney posted a video online, highlighting the easter eggs that link the films together. And for a lot of fans, that is confirmation that the theory is true.

Personally, I wouldn't go as far as to say that the theory is "confirmed" as many of these are well-known easter eggs. But there are a few parts of the video that to me, make the theory hold more weight than it had before.

One of those things is the first clip showing an appearance of Riley from Inside out, in Finding Dory. But there was another clip that stood out to me a bit more, and it took me a while to figure out exactly why it did to me.

The clip shows that Dug from Up is in Ratatouille as a shadow of a dog that chases Remy. I didn't know why the clip felt so odd to me at first, but then I realized. Ratatouille was released before Up. Meaning that it's more likely to be a connection than an easter egg. Given that Dugs actual appearance hadn't happened yet.

So, while the video does not outright state that every pixar film shares the same universe. It does make the ideal seem a lot more likely, especially given how the "easter eggs" don't match up to release dates.

My hope is that Disney is going to use this as a jumping off point to further discuss the ideal at a later point in time. Because in a lot of ways, the video has raised new questions, just as it answers others. And it would be cool if an ideal like the pixar theory, which had been spread over the web by disney fans

But I will definitely be changing how I look at Pixar films now. And I will probably be looking back at past details to notice interesting details about the new movies that are released in the future.

For now, all we can do is just speculate more.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
