A college campus is the perfect market for many different companies and their products. From Rent the Runway to The Fraternity Collection, fashion companies and clothing brands infiltrate campuses across the nation through student campus representative programs.
One of the newest revamped campus rep programs at South Carolina is Victoria’s Secret PINK on Campus. PINK at South Carolina’s team consists of the two campus reps and seven members of the Street Team, and has multiple events, promotions, and giveaways planned throughout the school year.
"We rely heavily on social media to spread the word about upcoming events we hold throughout the year," said Erica Meyers, a campus rep. "We recently had an Ultimate Yoga Giveaway Week where we were able to giveaway pairs of the new Ultimate Yoga pant through daily challenges held on our social media platforms."
On Sept. 30, PINK also launched the introduction of University of South Carolina into their Collegiate Collection. The line currently includes t-shirts, hoodies, and half-zip sweatshirts. While the University of South Carolina has a strict non-solicitation policy and does not allow campus representative programs to hold events, post flyers, or set-up tables on campus, PINK has found several ways around the rules to still engage students, especially through social media.
