As someone who absolutely loves "Modern Family" I wanted to show some of Phil's finer "Phil-osophies" and other sayings. From one of the best dads on TV to your screen, here is Phil Dunphy.

1. For when life gives you lemonade...

Maybe you can't make an egg from an omelet but why not try making lemons from lemonade?

2. On being a "cool" dad...

Uncool dads, you should start taking notes.

3. On being original...

You really can't argue with this logic, while everyone else is trying to think outside the box, no one's thinking inside the box. Think inside the box people.

4. For showing how dads think...

Phil Dunphy really knows how to represent all the dads out there. What dad doesn't want their kids to call them for help when they're forty and living in their own house with their own family.

5. For explaining something ~adult~ to a child in the best way possible...

6. For proving that he really is the coolest dad...

The nonchalant way he says this makes it even more amazing.

7. For explaining life so well...

So simple yet so real.

8. For defining how it truly feels to be a parent...

What a perfect way to describe how a kid really makes you feel. Happy, not stressed or angry but they actually prevent you from becoming sad.

9. For trying to make someone feel better...

Yes, he tried making making someone feel better but he inadvertently "backwards complimented" himself. A true dad thing to do.

10. Because I thought Cam would feel left out...
