Fashion magazine, i-D, introduced The Plastic Age, featuring Pharrell as the creative director. The trailer for the upcoming documentary concentrates on the resource of plastic waste, linking it to one inventive solution -- fashion.

Introducing Bionic Yarn -- an upcoming progressive textile that transforms plastic into wearable clothing fibers. Pharrell joins the plastic recycling movement and endorses Bionic Yarn as a solution to our ocean's immense plastic waste issue.

As i-D puts it, “an estimated 700 million tons of the stuff has ended up in the big blue, worked its way up the food chain and ultimately into the blood of human kind."

So if you don't feel affected by that shocking research, accept that plastic now lives inside our bodies. The issue undeniably has roots in our own lives: 288 millions tons of plastic are manufactured each year, with no proper disposal plan.

The full documentary follows Pharrell and G-Star Raw as an idea evolves into answers. The full film will be released April 15, through i-D publication where you will see G-Star's project "Raw for the Oceans" ignite change. The project itself concentrates on Bionic Yarn and its utilization as a global resource and solution. According to Complex, Burton and the NBA are on board to collaborate.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.

The winters at Kent are brutal, and while the heated sidewalks and some great snow boots are always a help, there’s no chance you won’t bust it on the ice at least once in your four plus years at school.

Christmas is literally so close. We can almost taste it. But there is just one thing standing between you and the big day: FINALS. It's not the studying, lack of sleep, last minute cram sessions or crappy food intake that is the worst... but the fact that you cannot focus because, well, CHRISTMAS.
