NaNoWriMo, also known as National Novel Writing Month, is an annual event in which people aim to write 50,000 words of a novel or project etc. It's an amazing way to actually get some of that story written that you've been meaning to write down forever!
On the site it is easy to update how much you write every day and it tells you how much you have to write everyday for you to reach 50,000 words by the end of November.
Also, on the website you can access forums. If you're stuck for plot, need character inspiration or just need to chat to other writers, you can on the many forums.
