First of all I just want to say that I am so thankful for everything that you have done for me. I would not be the person I am today without you. Here are some things that I want you to know as I am preparing to leave.

I appreciate you more than you know.

You both have provided me with an amazing life and I am so blessed to call you my parents. From putting me through catholic school to being at all of my games to driving me all around town you were always there to support me and do what’s best for me. You are my favorite people to spend time with. Whether we are just sitting at home or trying a new restaurant I always have the best time. You really are my BFFs and I am going to miss hanging out with you.

I am excited to go off to college but I also cannot wait to come back home. This next chapter of my life is super exciting and I would not be here without you. Leaving home for college is probably one of the hardest things I will ever do but I will be just fine. As exciting as this new chapter of my life is I will always be just as excited to come home and be with you. Gonzaga is an amazing school and I am so thankful that you are providing me with the opportunity to go there.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Thank you for always putting up with me. I am not always easy to deal with but you have put up with me for years probably because you love me or something. Thank you for supporting me. Leaving for college will be hard on all of us but thank you for supporting me anyways and allowing me to embark on the next journey of my life. Thank you for being the best parents. Being parents isn’t easy but I promise you did the best job. I am so lucky and thankful to have parents as amazing as you.

Dad: Thank you for being my number one man and my coach throughout my life. Thank you for teaching me to be honest and responsible. Thank you for everything that you do for me and our family. All of your pep talks throughout the years have really helped me and I know I will get plenty more. Your advice isn’t always wanted but it is needed and true. I promise to call or text after intramural games to let you know how they go. I love you so much and will always be your little girl.

Mom: Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for being my sense of relief when the boys got too crazy. Thank you for being there for me when I had a bad day. Thank you for the countless shopping trips and errand runs. Thank you for being the person I can talk to about anything and at anytime. I am sad to leave you but know that our relationship will stay very strong through snapchats and facetime calls. I love you so much.

I am excited, nervous and scared to leave for college and there is no doubt that there will be buckets of tears shed. I will miss you both so much and I already do. You have shaped me into the person that I am today and I believe that is someone to be proud of but just like anyone else I have a lot of growing to do. Come visit whenever you’d like. Thank you for everything you have done for me I love you very much.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
