Anything to make a girl’s life easier in the beauty and fitness department is welcomed, but creating fake nail stockings is completely out the box. We all have our lazy days where we skip steps in our night routine, throw on a hat or scarf even when we're not having a bad hair day, or throw on some pants in the middle of summer because we're too lazy to shave. We all have our moments, even if they're not the best idea. But let's be real. There is a "being too lazy" thing; this product is the ultimate proof.
Japanese retailer, Belle Maison, is selling a variety of stockings with individual toes that have pre-painted toes for you. At just $15, you won't have to worry about that last minute run to the salon. The brand offers designs which include Disney-inspired nail art, fake embellishments, flowers, and shimmers.
I'm not going to lie, I'll probably try it just to see if it's as realistic in the pictures in real life. Though I may have curiosity to see if it works, it may just only be that. This product is not for everybody. Even if this was a genius product, it will fall short on the majority of the population, given that the brand only offers one skin tone.
Either go bare or paint your toenails. This is not the answer. Trends are getting worse and worse. I was ready for this "trend" to go as soon as I saw it. I really don't think this will pan out too well during hot summer months.
