Can The Sun Devils Be A Dominant Pac-12 Team?

They beat number-one Kansas, but lost to Princeton and Utah?

Can The Sun Devils Be A Dominant Pac-12 Team?

The Sun Devils dominated the Colorado Buffaloes in their previous game. I mean, completely routed them. Five of the Sun Devils had double-figures in points and Romello White had an amazing performance with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Now rewind back to last week. Utah had a 29-6 run in the second half that propelled them to beat ASU 10 points after being down by 17. Now that begs the question, is there any consistency with the Sun Devils this year?

At a short glance, the answer is no.

You can't expect a team that'll lose a game to an unranked opponent twice in a row but have beaten the number-one team in the country weeks earlier. That just points to the fact that Kansas made many mistakes and ASU capitalized on them as they should. That's not to disparage the win over Kansas, the Sun Devils never quit and focus got them through that game as Kansas became sloppy towards the end, but how do you judge a team like that? They have heart, drive, and talent, but it seems like every other game from the past month has been plagued with sub-par shooting accuracies and rushed performances, but none of that matters now.

Now we're in conference play. There is currently no Pac-12 team ranked in the Ap Top 25 and there have been rumors running that ASU could be one of few teams in the Pac-12 to get a March Madness bid and I'm not talking playing in the runner-up "First-Four" game like they did last year against Syracuse to get into a bracket, I'm talking the real deal.

It may seem sketchy at the moment for ASU, and Pac-12 basketball in general, but keep in mind the season is just starting. So my answer to the question, "Will the Sun Devils be a dominant Pac-12 team?" is yes they will. They've created too much hype around them to not be recognized, which is both a blessing and a curse. A blessing because it gives players confidence in themselves and the fanbase backing them and for future basketball players who want a shot at making history. It's a curse because everyone behind you is out to get you.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
