Every Halloween it is the same ol' costume. In all honesty and with no shame I was one of these twice. As I got older and where I am now in my life I no longer find interest in going out. I would rather sit by the front door and hand out candy and ramen noodles when the candies all gone. I don't know why people don't get creative. For years these are always and will always be the top 10 most basic costumes that you can find this Saturday.
1. The cat.
Putting black make up on your nose and whiskers on your cheeks. Sliding cat ears onto your head and wearing some form of clothing to resemble a cat is always a repetitive outfit you'll find this Halloween.
2. Nurse
Another favorite amongst people is being a nurse. Being a nurse is pretty straightforward however some people find the most interesting ways to make it something is not. Showing more skin than needed or pajama like scrubs.
3. The Where's Waldo costume.
A red and white striped shirt with glasses.
4.Thing 1 and thing 2.
A great idea yet overused. Usually best friends do this or siblings. It really is just a basic outfit with thing one and thing two written on the shirt.
5. A "nerd."
AKA offensive and played out. People will wear high waisted jeans and a tucked in striped shirt. Usually they poke out the lens of the 3D glasses and wear those and place tape over the center of the glasses.
6. A cop.
Usually people turn them into something scandalous when in no way should a cop outfit be revealing and demeaning. However people usually find a way to make them revealing and scandalous.
7. Miley Cyrus.
Blonde hair in a bun, nude colored / skin tight clothes and a large foam finger.
8. Risky business.
White button up shirts with no visible bottoms and usually converse with high socks.
9. Minnie Mouse
..slide on minnie ears and a mini skirt or a dress with polka dots.
10. Mario and Luigi..
...similar to thing one and thing two...
