The end of the year is approaching, and I swear there are a few songs I think I could spend a few years without hearing! Disclaimer: I'm sure at some point I really loved these songs but the radio had to ruin it. Let me just go ahead and skip to the list.
1. 'When I See You Again'
Okay, great meaning behind the song and wonderful singer. I love me some Charlie Puth, long time fan. But I do not want hear this song again. And don't you dare start singing it every time you exit the room.
2. 'I Can't Feel My Face'
I can't feel my ears when I hear this song. Ugh, why does the radio have to ruin a good artist like The Weeknd. Now I love me some Weeknd. 'Morning' is my alarm when I wake up and I never get tired of that. I will destroy the next radio that plays this song. And how dare commercials join in on this. *Insert all angry emoji faces*.
3. 'Hotline Bling'
Why you people got to ruin me and Drake's relationship. This song was on repeat this summer for me (when I wanted to listen to it). And then when the radio caught onto it's greatness I was kind of upset. From then on, it never was the same (heh heh Drake reference). And then when the video dropped you people took it to a whole new level. IT'S ALL OVER FACEBOOK! Sing that song one more 'gain. Or I will personally call Drake to take care of you (ayye another Drake reference).
(me mentally stabbing you with my eyes)
4. 'Uptown Funk'
Now I could never despise Bruno Mars, but this song dropped in Janurary of 2015 and everybody couldn't stop playing it. I will personally funk you up if you play this song around me.
5. 'Watch Me'
I refuse to watch you whip or nae nae (unless you're under the age of 5). You have people who can either really do it or who really can't. WE GET IT! Don't you dare try to make another video of you trying to "whip it" to Silento's song.
Please, do me a favor and refuse to play either of these songs in the next 10 years. Thank you and that is all.
