Chris Rock killed the opening monologue at the 88th Academy Awards. He touched on the diversity issue with jokes that resonated well with the audience, but also made solid points. There were many great moments during the ceremony including Chris Rock selling Girl Scout Cookies for his daughters to Hollywood’s millionaires amassing $65,243, Kevin Hart making a powerful statement about the progression of African Americans in the art and craft of film, Louis C.K.'s hilarious speech about the Documentary Short Subject winner, and Leonardo DiCaprio finally capturing that elusive Oscar!
