'Tis the loving season to consume as much sugar as possible. Not only is Valentine's Day around the corner, but many of us college students deserve some sweet treats to reward ourselves for our studies. Check out the following bakeries to ship yourself that special dessert that may not be available on the mountain.

Levain Bakery

This bakery has multiple locations in New York. They are known for their monstrous, decadent, mouth-watering cookies. If you stalk their Instagram account, I promise you won't be able to stop. Their cookies are not only massive in size, but massive in flavor. A gift box of four Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies runs around $30, but it is worth the cost for this magnificent dessert. They also have Oatmeal Raisin, Dark Chocolate Chip, and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip cookies as well. I would personally choose the classic Chocolate Chip cookie, but you can't really make a wrong decision here. Look at this photo for proof...

Sprinkles Cupcakes

Sprinkles was the very first cupcake store, and truly started the national cupcake obsession. This bakery has an abundance of flavors, and features Red Velvet, Chocolate Marshmallow, and the classics like Dark Chocolate and Vanilla for the month of February. It is easy to order from their website, and the bakery promises to satisfy your sweet tooth, and leave you happy.

Milk Bar

The Milk Bar is also located in New York, and has an abundance of unique cookie flavors ranging from Cornflake-Marshmallow-Chocolate Chip Cookie and Corn Cookie to Chocolate Chocolate and Compost Cookie. The Compost Cookie is filled with miscellaneous ingredients such as pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, butterscotch, and chocolate chips. There is a flavor for everyone at this lovely bakery. Also, if you or a friend has a birthday coming up, I highly recommend the "Insta-famous" Birthday Cake. This cake is impressively unique, and the recipe is easily accessible if you're feeling adventurous like me and my best friend from home were when we baked and decorated the pictured cake below. You truly can't go wrong with any of the previously mentioned baked goods.

Houston's Crave Cupcakes

They have moist, decadent cupcakes that are to die for, so check out their website as well. Don't forget that they have fantastic vegan options too! No matter what you choose, it is always lovely to have a present sent to you at the SPO, and to open up a package that will make your heart feel warm, your face smile, and your room smell like a bakery. Enjoy!
