Listen, I get it. It's your Second Amendment, and you believe that it is your right. You hold your guns to the same regard as your free speech, and I can't tell you that's wrong because I can't impose my values on you.
I sit here wondering why you need the guns, though. Is it a matter of protection? Pride? Fear?
Do these reasons seem insignificant when you hear that Stephen Paddock obtained all of his firearms legally? He bought 33 of those guns in the last 12 months, and nothing was done to stop him, yet you sit there and say that our rules are fine the way they are.
The guns aren't killing people, humans are. Yet, we can't really control the decisions of millions, or even keep tabs on all of them. If we take away the guns, we take away their vehicle for destruction, but you don't see it this way.
I'd like to know how you propose that we prevent this from happening again. You scream at the mention of regulations, yet you send thoughts and prayers over Facebook. Do you not understand how hypocritical this is?
58 people are dead, and over 500 are injured. We have the power to prevent this from happening in the future, and it all comes down to your precious right to bear arms.
Your thoughts and prayers aren't doing anything.
Are your guns more important than the lives of others?
