I am forever grateful that God placed you in my life at the exact time that he did. Never in a million years would I expect to find someone so perfect for me, at such a young age, that lives an hour away from me. It seemed crazy at the time, but the more I got to know you, the more I felt that being with you was so right. A year and then some later, look at where we are now. You deal with me at my worst, and bring out the best in me. I know for a fact that there was a reason you were placed into my life, and I hope that you want to stay here for a while. No matter where life takes us, you'll forever be the one.

I remember meeting you for the first time, like it was yesterday. I honestly didn't know for sure that we would even get to hangout the first time we met, and was SO nervous when you walked in. You were so quiet, I was so quiet, but somehow we warmed up to each other and ended up talking about absolutely everything by the end of the night. At 4 a.m., when we were looking at the stars on the golf course, I knew there was a reason that I met you. From that moment on, we clicked and connected so easily. I wanted to see you as often as I could and would drive an hour to you and back, any day of the week. Right from the start, I realized many things about you that put you aside from everyone else. It seemed like meeting you was a dream, like it was too good to be true... I thank God for you always, and never take any time together for granted.

In case you forget at times, I want you to know that I notice and appreciate every little thing you do for me. Whether it's paying for my food, taking me to a movie, going out of your way to come and see me (even though you could be doing plenty of other things with your time), laughing at my not-so-funny jokes, and telling me I'm pretty (even when I know I look hideous). You always know what to say, give me someone to rant to, and comfort me when I'm ugly-crying (so sorry about that). Always know that I am always here for you, and will do whatever it takes to keep you happy. You deserve nothing but the best. You've truly have shined the light and shown me what a perfect boyfriend is.

Thank you for being silly with me - I'm not sure if you know this or not, but your personality is one of my favorite things about you. You always know how to cheer me up, just by being your goofy self. At some point when we are together, I always end up laughing until I cry over something you do. I'm lucky that we have the same personality and get to joke around together, the ways that we do.

Thank you for reassuring me it's okay to have bad days - I know that I get upset sometimes, and down on myself quite a lot lately, but you always remind me that everything happens for a reason and things will get better. Without you encouraging me to cheer up, or make me feel better, I wouldn't make it through the tough times.

Thank you for never arguing with me, and letting me complain to you (especially over the dumbest things) - Okay, I even admit to this one... I'm sorry that you have to hear me talk and complain literally non-stop, about the most irrelevant things. I tell you everything that goes on throughout my 24hour day, but you somehow take it all in and listen. I'm forever grateful that you allow me to vent to you, and deal with my annoyingness.

Thank you for all the adventures - Out of all the memories we share together, these are a few of my favorites... When we first started talking, we went to Slades farm and stayed. I was so nervous to meet your whole family and friends, and embarrassed to absolutely suck at kayaking. The one time when we went to Carowinds for a few days, you went with me so I wouldn't be alone and miserable (sorry I made you spend a full day shopping :)). Every single game I got to come and watch you play, whether it was football, basketball, or baseball (nothing I love more than getting to cheer ya on). Rushing from baseball, to Brantley Gilbert for your 19th Birthday. Getting to go to the Bahamas for my 18th birthday, even though you were the only boy and stuck to hang with me, mom and Lori. The many bonfires, and late summer nights we had with all of our friends.All of our lake days during the summer... crazy to think that we have been hanging out and making memories for two whole summers now.

Everything I do, is better with you. So thank you for all of the fun times, and cherished memories that we have made so far. I look forward to making them forever with you, sweet boy.

Thank you for your family - Something that will always be very important to me, is how you allowed me to meet your family so early. Since we first started dating, you always invited me to go with you and your family everywhere. Some of the best memories I have with you, are the ones we shared with your entire family. I will always appreciate you all for treating me like your own, and going out of your way to let me tag along.

Thank you for opening up to me - Even though it took some time, nothing makes me feel more special than the way you talk to me, and let me in on personal things going on in your life. Over the amount of time that we have been together, I have learned so much about you. You have told me things that I know are sometimes difficult to discuss or think about, but know that I am always here to listen, comfort, and love you no matter the circumstance. We are so comfortable around one another, and that is something I will always love about our relationship.

Thank you for making me the happiest version of me - Aside from dwelling on the past, it's been rather difficult for me to recover from the hurt I went through. The cheating, the lies, and the continuous unfaithfulness. These were things that scarred me for the longest time, making it feel almost impossible to recover from. Although ever since you came into my life, the way you treat me and care for me have made me forget it all. There were times I questioned ever falling in love again, there were times that I hated myself for not being what I felt like was enough. But you made it all go away. Thank you for constant reassurance, and making me feel like the only girl in the world. The happiness and joy you bring into my life is something I could never thank you enough for.

Thank you for being exactly who you are - The person you are, is the person I had always dreamed of having. Every single thing about you seems perfect to me, and I find it hard to believe that someone like you chose someone like me. Your eyes, your hair, your hands, they way you play with my hair, your hugs, your kisses, your laugh (my fave), your smile, the way you talk, the way you look at me... The way you handle situations, the way you were raised, the plans you have for the future, the God that you serve. You are such a dream. Everything about you is so you, and I will forever love you for all that you are. Never change.

Thank you for being my best friend - Out of all of the things that you classify to me as, my best friend is an important one. Whenever something drastic happens, I tell you first. Whenever something little or silly happens to me, I don't leave out a single detail when explaining to you. You are the one person I would chose to do anything and everything with. Whether it be a random road trip, ice cream date, or even just call to talk on FaceTime, it's always you. You get me like no other could, and the bond we have is unbreakable. You're so true to me, and someone I know I can always rely on. So thank you for going above and beyond on the whole 'boyfriend' thing, and becoming my best friend too.

As I sit here and write this, it has become even more evident to me that you are, in fact, my soul-mate. Our path's didn't cross for just any old reason. I will always believe that God placed you in my life at the time he did, because he knew that I truly needed you. I've never had such a sure feeling about anything, and know that our relationship is well worth fighting for. Thank you for bringing light in my life, and love in my heart.
