Hello my friend,
As we both know you live in a different state than I do and I miss you a ton. I miss you more than you probably think. We had some pretty cool times before you moved away from me. I will always say that the “House Party” concert was the best day of my life and I will also say that Friday nights sitting in your room were the greatest way to spend the weekend. Our little trips to Bill and Bobs and Stop and Shop were also pretty great. Especially the time we went spontaneously bought strawberries and chocolate to make chocolate covered strawberries. I remember coming in through the back door of your house and seeing your neighbor’s dogs outside playing. I also remember seeing you during school and getting super excited. I also remember how we turned into the same person because we were together all the time. I couldn’t possibly write about all of our good times but I will never forget them.
I have to thank you for always staying by my side. You are the person who has stayed by my side longer than anyone else. Of course we’ve had stupid fights but you still put up with me. I think that we are secretly the same person; you’re just a cooler version. Thank you for listening to me vent about things that weren’t even that important. You were always there for me and I hope you know I will always be there for you no matter how far away you are. The great thing about being a part is that we can still call and text each other about anything we need to talk about. I can complain about my friends and my boyfriend to you and you can do the same. Also, being away from each other means we won’t get sick of each other.
Being able to see each other less makes it that much better when we get to see each other. I am counting down the days until I finally get to travel to North Carolina to see you! Seeing you a few months ago was great and I really didn’t want you to leave. I know you had to but it was hard. When you came home, it felt so normal. I wish you could have stayed but we both have our own lives and that’s okay because we still keep each other updated on the crazy things that happen to us.
So yes, I do miss you a lot. When I am at school I think about how much fun it would be if we could share a dorm together or at least have class together. Seeing you every day is one of the only things I miss about high school. My weekends would be a lot better if I spent them doing crazy hardcore things with you. I also wish we could have graduated together or went to prom together (even though we both know prom is so lame). I hope in the future you’ll live closer than a 12-hour drive. I know you are enjoying yourself in North Carolina. Seeing you is more exciting and I can’t wait until June!
