My baby sister is the jewel of our family, as most little sisters are, she can always bring a smile to your face. She is fierce and straight to the point, while tenderly caring for everyone around her. She has the biggest heart that I have ever seen and gives constantly. When she falls short she always handles herself with grace and I admire her for that. Even though we have our moments I know that she is my biggest supporter in everything I do. I have no doubt in my mind that she will always be there. So you better take care of her.
I know that she can be very difficult sometimes, trust me. But just give her some space, let her breathe and she’ll come around. When she pushes your buttons, because trust me she will, still love her. Always be kind even when she is being hard headed and treat her with the respect she deserves. Be patient for her because she has none especially when it comes to things she wants. But most importantly know she cares. Even when she is being a diva, which unfortunately runs in our family, and she’s hard to deal with know that she cares. When I started writing this I was going to give you a long list of things you should and shouldn’t do, but I don’t feel that is necessary. I know you are someone with great character and good intentions or my sister wouldn’t have chosen you. So this is all I have to say. Now that I am away for school and not able to be there for her, like I would like to, I’m counting on you to watch out for her. You have become her best friend. So be there for her when she’s upset and keep her safe. Just know I’m entrusting you with precious cargo, so don’t screw up.
These entire request I am asking you to fulfill, know I expect the same thing from her. She should be kind, respectful and be there for you when you need her. But above all else trust each other. “So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing” 1 Thessalonians 5:11 this is the best advice I can give. Relationships are 90 percent of just being there for each other, so remember that.
I guess if you have survived all of our dad’s tactics to get rid of any boy that steps foot in our house then you can stay around. Also, just a heads up when he pulls out his gun collection, if he hasn’t already; don’t be scared he’s just a big teddy bear that cares a ton about his baby girl. I guess she is pretty lucky to have you!
