To My Sister,
I always hear stories from Mom and Dad about how I used to rub Mom's belly, waiting for the day that you would arrive. It's hard to believe that at one point in my life, you weren't here, because without you, I'm not me. I'm finding it hard to put what I feel into words, because you're beyond words. I don't show it all the time but you're my best friend, you're my go-to, and I'm not really sure where I would be without you. You have been here through everything, and each and every time, no matter how bad it is, I seem to get through it, because you're here helping me. Although it may not seem like you help me, you do, and even though it may not always be direct and obvious, I feel your support. Whenever someone asks about me, you're always the first thing I bring up about my life. The love I have for you is endless and unconditional, so please don't ever forget it. You make my life so much brighter and I couldn't even imagine not having you as a sister.
Each day, I think about how I have someone like you looking up to me, when in reality, I'm constantly looking up to you in awe of how much you have accomplished in such a short span. You may not know it or believe it, but you inspire me, and one day I hope to truly make you proud because you're my little sister.
I can't thank you enough for pushing me and supporting me through everything. No matter how crazy of an idea, I know that I could text you and you'll be down to do it right next to me. So thank you. Thank you for making me get out of bed to go get a midnight snack. Thank you for never failing to put me in my place when necessary, but also accepting the backlash that comes with it. Thank you for making me drive you everywhere even when I complain because that's when we bond the most. Thank you for loving me when I can't love myself. Thank you for being the sassy girl you are. Thank you for simply being you. You drive me crazy but you make me sane. You're my younger sister, but you're input is more important than anything. You're my teammate, but you're my biggest competitor. To my sister -- thank you for making me a better me.
