Dear Future Little,

I know I'm writing a little far in advance but I just want you to know I love you already. I'm so anxious and excited to meet you. As I see all the new freshmen on campus, I pass so many faces and wonder if one of those is you. There are a few things I want you to know and a few promises I want you to make.

First things first, I want you to know you are going to join one of the most amazing sisterhoods ever. Being in this sorority has given me the opportunity to become a sister to some of the most beautiful, kind, and amazing women. A sorority is something you can share with every girl, it is more than girls coming together for a good cause.

Second, I can't wait to welcome you home and show you how amazing being in a sorority truly is. I remember thinking back and contemplating joining a sorority. I didn't think I would fit in, but turns out, I fit in just perfectly. The best part of a sisterhood is getting a big. My big is the most loving human being ever. I hope one day I can be as good of a big as she is.

Speaking of my big, I didn't just get her. I got an amazing GBIG and GGBIG. They are awesome for homework help, advice, rides, some good food, and most importantly a lot of love. I truly am #blessed.

So little, I'm going to end this article in a basic way and give you a line you've probably already heard. Just like our sisterhood, our bond isn't four years, it's four life. Love you already!

xoxo,

your super awesome big

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
