The Most Honest Open Letter To Myself Before Finals

Dear me,

Please don't do this to yourself next semester, you procrastinating monster. You have put yourself in this position with your insistence upon prioritizing unimportant things over the take home essays you should have been working on.

So this is just a reminder that next year you will get it together and leave responsibilities until eight o'clock on the Sunday before finals come and sweep you away to your death.

If anyone other than my mother is reading this, please take my advice and don't behave like me in college. Because I feel like I'm going a little bit crazy with all of the information that I have smashed into my brain over the past week in preparation for a week full of stress and possibly tears. That is all.

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
