Dear best friends,

College separates people. And, although it creates new friendships and brings you close to new people, I will never forget all of you, my best friends from home.

First off, I want to tell you how much I miss you all. It is so hard to go from seeing your faces every day, to only seeing them every few months. I miss you all more than I can express. There are so many things that I wish I could share with you every day and so many memories that I wish you were part of. I miss having you in my everyday life. I can’t wait until the next time I see you all, it can’t come soon enough.

I want to let you know that even though we are all in different places, some of us across the country from on another, I will always be here for you. Anytime you ever need something, I am a call away. I am always here for you even though we no longer live in the same place. You can always rely on me; you are my best friends and can count on me for anything at any time.

I want to let you know that I am not forgetting about you. Although we may not talk very often or catch up as much as we should, I am in no way forgetting you. I have known you all for as long as I can remember and the excessive amount of memories we have together can never be replaced. I may have new people in my life who receive the majority of my attention, but I will never forget you.

I also want to talk about the plans for the future. I cannot wait until the warm summer day when we are all reunited. It will be a summer to remember, I can promise you that. I miss you all so much and get so excited planning concerts, sleepovers and trips for all of us. I cannot wait to see where the future takes us. I do not know what is coming next, but I do know you all will be right by my side for whatever it is.

I want to tell you how many things remind me of you in my new life. Songs playing, other friendships, jokes, and phrases that people say all remind me of you. You are all brought up so many times. All of my new friends here basically know you based on how much I talk about you. There are so many times when I am reminded of you or a crazy memory that we have.

Lastly, I want to tell you all that no distance can ever separate us. I know that the friendship we have will last a lifetime. You have seen me at my worst and been right by my side at my best. I love you all and am so happy to know that I will have you all around for a long time to come.
