To my beloved companion, friend, sworn enemy, and brother:
First and foremost, I miss you. I never realized how much you were a part of my life until I left for college, but life is so different without always having you around. For one, it's always quiet when the TV is on. I don't hear you munching your Doritos (you always eat healthy, obviously), or commenting on every character, or watching Vines with the sound on. I thought I would never miss this, but I do. I actually miss when you tackle me at random times, or physically throw me in the backseat because you called shotgun.
You are truly an amazing person. You have an incredible sense of humor, and I hope you never lose the ability to make people laugh. You're so smart - smarter than I was, even if you can't admit that. You are able to befriend everyone, and I'm so jealous of that quality. You're an amazing teammate and friend, and I'm lucky to call you one of my closest.
I also want to thank you. Having you in my life has been such a crazy gift from the beginning. You've taught me how to be funny, and never hold back when what I say isn't as hilarious as I think it is. Thank you for sitting with me through every terrible movie that I feel like we have to watch for the thousandth time. Thank you for being my TV marathon buddy. We watch the same episodes of the same shows and quote the same lines, but this doesn't bother either of us. Thanks for always ordering takeout with me, and thanks for finishing my leftovers - even when I'm not done. Thank you for protecting me, and for being the brother who will beat someone up if I need him to. I don't forget about that. Thank you for punching me a thousand times, because I learned how to punch someone back. Thanks for forcing me to watch sports with you, because I understand the game and can even watch it by myself (kinda)!
I hope you finish out your last years of high school as the strong, smart, hilarious, sweet guy that I know you are. I hope you remember your studies, but have as much fun as you possibly can. Life is short and you should always enjoy it. I hope you listen to what I say, but you make your own mistakes.
I truly can't wait to catch up on our TV shows over Chinese food on Chinese food when I come home and to ask you a bunch of questions about your personal life that you won't answer!
Love always and forever,
Your annoying big sis
