Sometimes things get so hard and complicated and just...messy. It's overwhelming. It is SO overwhelming. You know what, though? That's okay. What would the point be if everything was easy all the time?
Love, you are doing an absolutely fantastic job. You are doing your best and that's all anyone can ask of you. Sometimes people want more, but don't be discouraged. Be unapologetically you. Know that your efforts will be rewarded.
You clicked on this letter which means you feel like you can connect to it in some way and for that, I am so sorry. I wish you didn't hurt. Just know that you really are surrounded by people that love you and care for you. If they're pushing you it means they know you're capable of more than you're putting out and they are waiting for you to see it too. Breathe. Someday you'll see.
Darling, God has never once dropped you. Why would He start now? Even if it's been years or even if you haven't discovered your faith, whatever the case may be, He has stood by your side. I know that without a doubt. You are His child and He loves you more than you can know. Pray to Him. Pray and tell Him how hurt you are and how you've done nothing but struggle. Tell him you're so tired and you don't feel as though you can go on. Ask for patience. Ask for understanding. Ask that you may be able to feel peace. If you make time for Him, He makes time for all else. So, sweetheart, go make 2 minutes of time. Go, I'll wait.
I'm so sorry you're feeling overwhelmed. Trust that what needs to happen, IS happening and WILL happen. I know firsthand how hard that can be, how it feels like you're drowning...but He will lift you and carry you until you regain your strength if you just ask.
Hear me out here. Walking with Him is like walking through thick fog in paradise. What did she just say? Does that even make sense? Let me explain. You are standing still and you only see the first foot in front of you but when you gather your strength a whole new foot that you've never seen before is now revealed. And it's paradise, how beautiful this new insight is! Look up! Look within this foot that you CAN see... isn't it beautiful? You are so blessed. You will see it if you just look for the blessings instead of choosing to see all that's going wrong. There will always be something wrong. But there will always be something right too. So choose to see the light instead. Your life is filled with so many blessings, loved one, rejoice! Be grateful! We focus so hard on the one negative thing going wrong in the day and all of the sudden, all of the positive things are irrelevant. Can you imagine how that must make Him feel? "What do you mean you didn't see the beautiful garden I put in your path, I made it just for you.." We focus so hard on these wrong things that we are blinded to all the good that's being done. If you could see more than the foot that He's given you, you'd be so overwhelmed and then you wouldn't be able to fully appreciate all the beauty. Stop demanding for the answers now. Trust that He will give it to you in His time... in increments so that one day the big picture — your paradise — is revealed. But look..look at all the beauty that is currently within this one square foot that he is currently giving you! Stop focusing on all the bad when you're surrounded by such good.
Love, nothing is wrong with you. You are perfectly validated in how you feel. Sometimes things get SO HARD. You are allowed to feel this way. So feel it. Feel overwhelmed. Cry. Scream. Yell. Feel defeated. Let it all out so that there's room for the good to settle inside. You use this feeling though to power you. Use this feeling to motivate you. Use it like it's a flame under your feet and run. Successful people don't sit around and wait for things to happen, they go out and make it happen themselves.
Look at you, you've made it through 100 percent of your hardest days and weakest moments. This is no different. Don't give up hope yet. The darkness ends just right around the corner. God will make sure that everything will work out exactly as it should. Let go. Let God.
