Dear Friends,

Although you are going to be gone for a semester, and saying goodbye to you was awful, I could not be more happy for you. I am so thankful you can still communicate with me, otherwise I might really panic.

I hope you experience all that going abroad has to offer. I hope that you learn new things about yourself and push beyond your comfort zone.

School is not going to be the same without you. Even though I will be counting down the days until you come back, I am thrilled that you will experience a once in a lifetime adventure in such a beautiful country.

I will be beyond jealous that you will be exploring countries with gorgeous history and rich culture. Take lots of pictures and document everything, because we are going to need days to review everything we did without each other.

If it cannot wait until you get back, you can call me anytime no matter what the time change is.

Things here will be different, and not nearly as fun without you, but I hope you have the time of your life. Make sure you go out and come back with crazy (kind of safe) stories. Enjoy being of legal drinking age for some time and take advantage of that (safely of course).

But really, be safe because you have to come back to all of us here.

Take advantage of all your classes and try your hardest.

I hope you get everything you want out of the experience, get to see once in a life time things and met people you would never get to without being abroad. I hope that you learn so much, and have an amazing time.

Just like when you left, I will be crying when you get back. Thanks for always being my best friend. Taking on the year without you will not be the same, but I only want the best for you and I know going abroad is going to be fantastic for you.

So just remember have fun, learn a lot, come back, we will all miss you here and we love you.
