To My Friends At Different Colleges:
First off, I hope you have a great year at school. Study hard, but not too hard. I hope your year is filled with fun and laughter and plenty of good times. I wish you the best of luck at every endeavor you choose to try. I hope you create wonderful memories and make more great friends. I know you will enjoy your time at your own school and have a fantastic year.
Secondly, thank you for being my friend. I am truly blessed with the friends that have been put in my life. You are wonderful and I’m so glad we are friends. We have made some awesome memories and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Whether we have been friends for 10 years or for just one, I am extremely thankful for you. Y’all are fantastic.
I love being at college and spending time with my friends there, but when breaks come around, the excitement is always there when we get to see each other. Breaks are hard, because you’re away from school, but I know that I’ll have some good times with you when I’m home. Even if we are just hanging out or getting food, breaks are better with you. Catching up in person always beats the texts or social media interaction. Sometimes, you just need to be with the people that know where you came from.
Spending time with you is like putting on an old familiar favorite sweatshirt of mine. It’s comfortable and makes me happy. Through the sleepovers, breakfasts and late night adventures, I know I can always count on you to be there.
Staying friends with people from high school that have gone different ways isn’t always easy, but I am glad we have stuck together, even though we aren’t always together. We don’t have to see each other all the time to remain close. I am very thankful you are my friend.
I wish you the best of luck this year and hope everything works out for you. Also, just know that I am always here if you need me. Even if I’m hours away, I will do my best to help you out. Like the song in Toy Story, “you got a friend in me.”
Goodbye is always hard, that’s why this is a
See You Later,
Your Friend.
