I want to start by saying growing up with you has been the biggest blessing and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to have by my side.

All my life you were like the older sister I always wanted and the one person I knew would be there no matter what. I was not only blessed with someone that would take my side in every argument or always be my partner when it came to doing things in pairs but I was blessed with a permanent best friend from the very beginning. Not only did I have someone that I knew would keep all my secrets but I had someone that would be my shoulder to cry on when something went wrong and would always lend an ear when I needed to vent.

Some people take family for granted and I just wanted to say thank you for everything.

Thank you for always picking me first to be on your team.

Thank you for never questioning me when I asked you to try some weird food combination I came up with.

Thank you for always answering my 2 am phone calls when I’m crying over Grey’s Anatomy.

Thank you for giving me the fruit off the top of your cake at birthday parties.

Thank you for always helping me pick my outfits because I have no sense of style whatsoever.

Thank you for texting me every morning with the weather so I know when to wear a jacket.

Thank you for always agreeing with me on things even when you know I’m wrong sometimes.

Thank you for coming shopping with me for hours even though you know how stubborn and annoying I get.

Thank you for helping me survive my first semester in college without going crazy or over stressing myself.

Thank you for always knowing when I need to take a break from studying and offering to go out and help me “de-stress.”

Thank you for always being there and knowing when something is not right.

But most of all thank you for being you, and thank you for believing in me when I don’t believe in myself.

I can honestly say I was blessed with the best and I love you more than words can describe.
