Dear Jordan,
I know you probably think I forgot about you since I wrote one of these for mom and dad, but you thought wrong, my friend! You are my one and only brother, and of course, I am going to write about you because that's what sisters do, right? (and it was bound to happen eventually).
Let me first start off by saying how proud I am of you. I know I might not tell you that enough, but I really am. You are my older brother and I will always be here to support you and encourage you. Unfortunately, I know you all too well because we pretty much are the same person when it comes to our mentality, (I think we get that from both mom and dad, whoops), but you are too hard on yourself sometimes. You don't give yourself enough credit when you should, and you deserve it.
I know that we have our moments when we argue with one another, but somehow we always manage to get over it. You have such a big heart and are always kind to others, well, when you want to be (haha). But seriously, you have always been so giving to others your entire life, just remember to try to not spread yourself too thin and let people take advantage of you. I know, it's hard sometimes, but you have to set boundaries. Trust me, I still need to work on this myself sometimes.
I also just want to say thank you for always being there for me while we were growing up, even if you did decide to give me a haircut that one time (lol). Thank you for always washing my car and making it look normal again after I completely destroy it and neglect it for months. Thank you for making me laugh when I am upset. And thank you for just being you.
Sure, we may have our disagreements and drive one another crazy sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way. You are my big brother and I am thankful to have you in my life every single day.
Never change who you are for anyone, and always put yourself first and do whatever makes you happy.
I will always be here for you, no matter what, but I'm pretty sure you know that by now. I love you, Jordan.
Love,
Brooke
