To my best guy friend,
You don't get nearly enough credit as you should. I mean you're my best friend so I always give you credit for my actions. I know, I know we girls are difficult and I probably am the most difficult person you could have as a friend. However, I love you for putting up with me and always listening to me. I know we don't talk as much as we would like to but I know that you're always there for me. Through all the relationships, heartbreaks and laughter I couldn't be luckier to have you in my life.
Thank you for always being there to talk to me when I need someone to talk to. You may not always get a word out but that's because you know I need to rant about whatever's on my mind. You keep me in check when it comes to life, you help me see the world in many different perspectives. When I do let you speak, you always know exactly what to say. It warms my heart knowing that you take in everything that I am saying just to process it and give me the best response.
Thank you for supporting me through my time in school. It's nice having someone who pushes me and knows all my strengths and weaknesses. Being pushed isn't easy, I may not listen to you all the time but when I do the outcome is unbelievable. I'm thankful to know that you are going to make sure I give my everything. You always believe in me when I am unable to believe in myself.
Thank you for taking care of me, and helping me through hardships. We all know life can be hard and hard to deal with all alone. You always remind me that I am not going through life alone, you're always by my side even if you're miles away. Thank you for wiping my tears away when I'm sad, frustrated, or laughing so hard I cry. Thank you for listening to my relationship issues or friendships that are crumbling. When I'm sick, thank you for telling me how to take care of myself to get better.
Thank you for embracing your weird and funny side with me. Whether it's being a little kid with me or watching scary movies with me just so I can feel safe with your presence. Having someone you can be weird with or just yourself with is the best feeling in the world. Being a girl, I have a lot of best girl friends but sometimes it's nice to just have someone who is oh so very different.
Thank you for knowing me and my dreams. You know all my secrets, fears, and what I want to aspire to. Whenever I am in a bad mood you always know how to get me to talk about whatever's bothering me. You are also the best at giving advice, I may not always listen to you but just know that what you say sticks to me.
The best thing is about us is that we are always going to be there for each other. I know that I can always count on you and you can always count on me. You have made such an impact on my life and I wouldn't want anyone else to be my best friend. You are truly a blessing and you deserve to be thanked every once in awhile.
