My best friend and I, after almost 10 years of being inseparable, decided to go to colleges located vertically opposite from each other. Not our best move, but we both went to our dream schools. She's at Villanova, 1,192 miles away. Since we had sleepovers almost every night, I know exactly how to live with her. So, without further ado, here’s your guide to living with my best friend.

You're super lucky. You get endless sleepovers with my favorite person in the world. But first, here are some things you need to know. She's a heavy sleeper-you're going to have to shake her awake if you need her. You should know that she's her funniest after 2 A.M. because she's over tired. If you want to keep Easy Mac, Nutella, Dunkin' Donuts glazed donuts, muffins or any type of cookies, hide them, those are her favorites. If you're ever stressed, go right to her. She's the best person to calm you down, even if she's dealing with something too.

She's very smart but will still be nervous for a test. Still, she'll come out of it with an A. If she's ever quiet, she's probably just tired. If she's ever angry, she's probably just hungry. If you're crying she'll probably cry too. And if she's crying- don't hug her yet or she'll cry more, but laugh that she was crying later. When you go out, she'll want to take a lot of pictures- and I mean a lot. She'll always look really good in them too. But she probably doesn't think she does so she'll ask for your opinion.

She's the most forgiving person you'll ever meet- just don't take it for granted. You can tell her anything and know that the secret is safe with her- and that's pretty rare right? She has the best eyelashes- you will be jealous. She'll always have funny nicknames for people , and sometimes you'll lose track of who'swho. Don't try to go on a casual run with her- she'll run like 6 miles. If you have a bad day- just ask her to make you laugh. That should be enough for now. All together, just don't forget how incredibly lucky you are to get to spend everyday with her- until the summer then she's mine again!!

Much love,

Dylan

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
