Dear Seniors,
In just a couple more weeks you will be graduating high school. I realize you probably are counting the days until your last, I know I was. But honestly once being in college for a while you will realize how much you miss high school and everyone and everything back home.
But, do not rush on the quickly-approaching day, instead enjoy these last 'lasts' while you can. Don't count the days left until you walk down the aisle and receive that piece of paper. And once you do graduate, I encourage you to spend your summer wisely carefree. This is because once you get into college you will finally realize the amount of free time you wasted over the summer.
Enjoy the last time you eat lunch in your high school cafeteria. Remember the memories you had with your friends that you grew up with. Take lots of pictures, in case you ever forget these last memories of yourself in school, you will forever be able to have that memory stored with you.
Do not get so excited to be leaving your home and your family because I promise you once it sets in, you will realize how much you need them. You will miss them constantly being there for you because it won't be like that in college.
Do not stress on what you will do for the rest of your life, especially your first year in college. People change their majors every day, it is not the end of the world. Plus, it's better to find out that you can't do a certain job earlier on in your college career rather than after.
Show your pets how much you love them. Your pets will not know how long you will be gone, and once you leave for school, you will miss those cuddling sessions between you and your favorite animal.
Enjoy your parent's homemade meals. While in college, you will get sick of the same food every day. So, take advantage of these meals the best way you can, you will get tired of the ramen you will be eating day after day.
But please remember that college is also going to be one of the greatest times of your life, just don't forget to remember and cherish the times that high school, and the many years in grade school before that have given to you.
