7 Online Quizzes To Help You Get To Know Yourself

Chances are, if you have a pulse, you have gone down the internet black hole before in some way, shape, or form (probably today, honestly). This could be anything from online shopping to YouTube videos to your 1,000th BuzzFeed quiz. All these things can be somewhat beneficial (I always want new shoes or to know what character from The Office I am), but you usually dismiss this fluffy material the second after you indulge in it.

So if you're going to putz around on the internet, why not make it useful? The internet might have a direct relationship with procrastination, but the internet can be used for some good, too. The internet has so much depth, knowledge, and research behind it that we are fortunate enough to get to use.

I encourage you to take advantage of these 7 online tests that can benefit you further than just the sake of entertainment. There's so much to know about yourself, and the vastness behind the internet can help you explore the depths of you!

1. Find Your Personality Type.

https://www.16personalities.com/personality-types

You may already know what your tendencies are, but to you know what's at the root of that? Are you analytic or explorative? Do you know what makes you thrive best, how you flourish or how you lead? All these things are important to know about YOU. (special shout-out to my fellow ISFJs)

2. Find Your Enneagram.

This one is a personal favorite for me. In my opinion, this digs deeper than just your personality. This taps into how you're wired and the depths of your feelings. It even tells you what your "wing" is, or your second tendency. I'm one wing two, thanks to the perfectionist, people pleasing, relationship-oriented soul inside of me.

3. Find Your Love Language.

This can not only help you, but it can help your significant other as well. Find out how you receive affections the best and the worst. Ask your SO to take it too so you know how to love them best and better understand them! Ask anyone you want to love better to take this quick test so you know what makes them feel most adored!

4. Find Your IQ.

https://iqtest.com/

This can lead to major bragging rights if you ask me. Who doesn't want to know how smart they are?

For reference, the Highest IQ ever scored was a 228 by Mary Savil, but it's believed that William James Sidis had the highest IQ somewhere between 250-300, the exact score is unknown.

5. Find Your Political Leanings.

https://www.isidewith.com/political-quiz

Midterm elections are coming up, do you know who you're voting for? Do you know where you stand on today's issues and controversial topics? The cool thing about this website is it tells you your percentage matches for all political parties, the 2018 midterm candidates, and the 2020 presidential candidates. GET READY TO VOTE!

6. Find Your Career Match

What to do upon graduation? Who knows!?!? This quiz tells you what your career values are to help you narrow down the vast job market. For some odd reason queen of America wasn't my result.

7. Find Your College Major Match

https://www.mymajors.com/college-major-quiz/

In college or not, it's perfectly okay to not know what you want to major in! I changed my major three times before I found my perfect match. When I took this quiz my number one result was journalism and my number two result was music, so I'd say this website has about a 587% accuracy rating.

Just because the world is ever changing doesn't mean you have to be. Stand firm in what you know to be true about you and what you believe! It's just as important to take the time to truly get to know yourself as it is to get to know other people.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
