This is an old poem I wrote for an assignment in high school. I'm only sharing the first few lines of it since, in my opinion, the whole thing isn't up to par. Enjoy xx.
People always tell you to not trust your friends,
but really depends on who you befriend.
Some friends are good and some are bad,
but there always happens to be one special lad.
"It's not that diamonds are a girl's best friend, but it's your best friends who are your diamonds. It's your best friends who are supremely resilient, made under pressure and of astonishing value. They're everlasting; they can cut glass if they need to." - Gina Barreca
