The Basketball Wives finally made it to Amsterdam in the August 26th episode. Shaunie invited the ladies to accompany her on a marijuana research trip. Shaunie is planning to get into the marijuana business. She invited most of the cast, with the exception of Jennifer on the trip. Tami decided that she didn't want to go, because she didn't want to be a part of the extreme drama. She also wanted to spend more time with her man, Reggie (especially after she decided to call off the wedding).

Even without Tami there, the trip was bound to have some tension. I mean, they are the Basketball Wives. CeCe wasn't getting along with Evelyn, nor was she on good terms with Kristen.

Shortly after they arrived in Amsterdam, Evelyn went in on CeCe. She asked her why she didn't speak to Shaunie. CeCe seemed genuinely shocked at this, because she had intended to avoid Evelyn, but not Shaunie. So then the conversation went left when Evelyn brought up something that CeCe said in past. At the time, CeCe was annoyed that the other women were saying some not-so-nice things about her work in a medical spa; they went so far as to say that she was giving happy endings. It was supposed to be a joke, but CeCe didn't think that was funny.

CeCe had invited the group to her medical spa for a little pampering and treatments, and she thought that the women were unappreciative of her efforts. She was highly annoyed and threw it out there that some of the other women didn't have actual jobs. They didn't invite her to their workplaces.

So all this got back to Evelyn, and Evelyn chose dinner time in Amsterdam to throw CeCe's word's back in her face. CeCe acted like she didn't remember what she'd said. She retaliated by calling Evelyn, Evil Lyn. And then Evelyn called CeCe Lee Lee, which happened to be a racial slur. That's Lee Lee the nail girl, Malaysia explained. While all of this name calling was going down, Kristen didn't say a word to defend CeCe. CeCe still has her supporters, though. Jackie told her that she had held her own. From the looks of it, OG also seemed to be cool with CeCe.

Meanwhile, Evelyn and Jennifer had a chat and Evelyn convinced Jennifer to fly all the way to Amsterdam to try to make amends with Shaunie. The two had a falling out from a rumor that Jennifer had been accused of spreading. Shaunie was upset that Jennifer had tried to use her to get back at Evelyn. Now besties again, Jennifer and Evelyn had been feuding at the time.

Shaunie didn't want to have anything to do Jennifer, so when Evelyn told her that she'd invited Jennifer to Amsterdam, Shaunie was not amused. She told Evelyn that she'd set up Jennifer, because she had no intention of speaking to the woman.

All of the women are still down for having tons of fun in Amsterdam, and Shaunie mentioned that she wanted to women to try some marijuana for her research. Malaysia and Jackie wanted to see all that they could see in Amsterdam's cafes. So, we'll have to wait and see how all of this goes in the next episode of Basketball Wives.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
