To my older siblings: thank you.
Thank you first and foremost for showing me how to have tough skin; to not let the thoughts and opinions of others sink into my skin. To acknowledge others thoughts when they are positively relevant, but to keep on keeping on when they are hurtful.
Thank you for showing that life is serous, yet full of opportunity. A life taken too seriously, is a life not lived. There is the work world and there is the fun world. The work world full of business talk, but the fun world full of exploration, genuine people, and fun.
Thank you for showing me that hard work pays off -- to have a dream and pursue it to the best of your abilities. To never settle for less unless what you have given is proven to not be enough.
Thank you for showing me that good friends are an immense part in life. Good friends are those who fill life with nostalgia and exhilaration.
Thank you for emphasizing the importance of caring. You never know what anyone is going through. Despite differences, it is imperative to be open to others with wide arms and sympathy.
Thank you for demonstrating that jokes in life are a necessity. To lighten the intensity of an environment, there is always room for a good joke.
And most of all, thank you for being my built in best friends.
